Ebenezer Sunder Singh | Ebenezer Sunder Singh Bio

Born in Tamil Nadu, India, Ebenezer Sunder Singh received a Diploma in Fine Arts from the Government College of Arts and Crafts, Chennai and an MFA from Art Institute of Boston, at Lesley University, USA. He is the recipient of the Government of Indian Fellowship (1995-1996) and the Lalit Kala Academi Research Grant (1991-92). Singh studied illustration and printmaking from Kingston University, United Kingdom on the Charles Wallace Scholarship. He later visited the USA as a Fulbright Scholar. He has participated in several shows at galleries and museums including Pundole Art Gallery, Mumbai (2005 and 2001), Galerie Bellview, Berlin (2003 and 2001), Museum fur Indische Kunst, Berlin (2002 and 2001), Easel Gallery, Chennai (2000 and 1996) and AIR Gallery, London (1999). The artist lives and works in New Delhi and Boston.
