Hariraam graduated from the University of Mysore (1974), a Diploma in Art (Drawing and painting) Kalamandir School of Art, Bangalore (1975-80) and practiced Print-making at the Graphic studios of the Regional Centre, Lalit Kala Akademi, Chennai (1990 – 93)
Some of his national & international representations are the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Federation of British Artists; South Eastern & International Federation of Art societies, London (1982), National Exhibition of Art, New Delhi (1983), International Independent Exhibition of Prints, Kanagawa, Japan and 11th Mini Princ International de Cadaques, Spain (1990), International Print exhibitions, Taiwan (1991), Italy and Romania (2003), Graphic Expressions- Cymroza Art Gallery, Mumbai (2000) and his paintings Time & Space Art Gallery, Bangalore and India Habitat Centre, New Delhi (2005), Exhibition of Indian Contemporary Art, Prakrit Arts & Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, Hong Kong (2005)
His works have been acquired by the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, National Museum, Botswana, Stad Museum, Burnico, Italy, Exlibris Museum Ankara Turkey, the Art Museum Arad, Romania and the Florean Museum, the Lalit Kala Akademi, Kanataka, Chennai and New Delhi.
